At the top of the week, a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces kicks off a brand new eclipse cycle that recalls the past: 2006-2008, along with 2015-2018, to be specific. This is the first installment of a seven-part series on the Virgo-Pisces axis that will continue all the way through 2027 (!!!), so this journey is just getting started.
During Eclipse Season, the cosmos takes the reins. Eclipses are celestial wild cards, acting as catalysts for major shifts and turning points in our lives. These events shake up the status quo, often illuminating hidden truths and forcing us to confront what we’ve been avoiding. Eclipses speed up time, perpetuate the inevitable, and ignite the nodes—the areas of the sky connected with fate and destiny. TL;DR: They’re big fucking deals.
I say it’s “good spiritual hygiene” to take a break from manifesting during Eclipse Season, because the universe is quite literally recalibrating itself, clearing the path for destiny in ways that may exist outside your alleged scope of possibility. Instead of pushing for specific outcomes, this is a time to surrender, reflect, and allow the natural flow of events to unfold. Trust that the eclipses reveal what you need to see, opening up possibilities you couldn’t have even imagined manifesting on your own. This is the time to expand your consciousness—not get stuck in the same old repetitive cycles.
This particular Lunar Eclipse takes place at 25°—the Moon occupies 25° Pisces while the Sun shines at 25° Virgo. Making strong connections to Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, there is an overwhelming amount of energy brewing in the cosmos. With so many generational planets involved, the lines between the individual and the collective are blurred. Pay close attention to what happens on the global stage on and around September 17; there are likely to be profound implications. (At the time of this writing, Trump was just involved in a second assassination attempt.)
I wrote about the upcoming Lunar Eclipse extensively in this article (Lunar Eclipse: What It Means For You), so be sure to check it out! I’m also hosting a Coven Meeting in the Constellation Club on Monday, September 16 at 8PM EST, where I’ll be exploring what eclipses are, what this brand new eclipse season is about, and what it means for you—individually. I’ll be leading a series of exercises and activities to help you navigate this powerful threshold, so please join if you can! (Can’t make the live? No worries, replays are available!) Register here!
Then, as the Sun moves through the final degrees of Virgo, it aligns with the dense outer planets, revealing the long-term, big-picture narratives baked into this moment—a strange blend of awakening, dissolution, and rebirth. It’s wild to consider how close Uranus (27º Taurus), Neptune (28º Pisces), and Pluto (29º Capricorn) are in the sky right now; it reminds me of that rare conjunction between Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn that defined the late 80s/early 90s. Indeed, this is a dynamic alignment of three powerful outer planets that represent deep, collective forces of change.
Each of these planets embodies a different kind of transformation: Uranus represents sudden breakthroughs and radical shifts, Neptune dissolves boundaries and connects us to the spiritual and unseen realms, while Pluto governs death, rebirth, and the process of profound inner and outer regeneration. That these three planets are all at the final degrees of their respective signs—all making harmonious aspects to each other—suggests that their energies are blending in an intense and unified way, creating a period where we are collectively pushed to shed old paradigms and embrace a new reality.
Uranus electrifies and awakens, creating shocks and surprises that force us to break free from the past. Neptune blurs the lines between what we think we know and what lies beyond, encouraging us to trust in the process even when clarity feels distant. Pluto, in its relentless pursuit of transformation, asks us to dive deep into our own shadows, confronting fears and outdated patterns in order to regenerate and emerge anew. Together, this alignment—as activated by Virgo, swiftly bringing their lessons down to earth—can signal a time of massive upheaval, but also profound spiritual evolution. It’s a time where the collective consciousness is challenged to evolve rapidly, with the boundaries of reality, perception, and identity being reshaped. And, yes, I do think we’re on that edge right now… especially amplified by Eclipse Season.
For what it’s worth, let’s keep a close eye on the Solar Eclipse in Pisces on September 21, 2025. Not only is it the only Solar Eclipse in the series (the rest are Lunar Eclipses), but it’s occurring at 29º Pisces—the final degree of the final zodiac sign, a point that we know is profoundly electric. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: Major things happen at 29º.
But, back to this moment, the week concludes with the Sun shifting into Libra at the Autumn Equinox. During the Autumn Equinox, we briefly experience a perfect balance of light and darkness, right before the Northern Hemisphere Sun begins its wintery descent into shadow. In magical practices, equinoxes (like solstices) are portals—halfway spaces that link us to the other side. Similarly, this is when Persephone begins her annual journey to the Underworld. And we’re entering that domain, too.
Libra is symbolized by the scales of balance (interestingly, the only zodiac sign represented by an inanimate object). It’s an air sign, which has an inherently social nature, and is likewise focused on the ways we relate to external variables (such as people, partners, and contracts). Libra is itself the negotiation: the halfway mark in the zodiac, Libra creates an effortless symmetry between the signs that come before it and the signs that come after. It stabilizes different perspectives. Different wants. Different needs. Different light and different shadow. After all, isn’t compromise the key to all successful relationships?
As we step into Libra Season, I invite you to consider the harmony and symmetry—as well as the negotiations and sacrifices—you make within your own interpersonal dynamics. Are they fair? Are they just? Are they balanced? Even if you’re not completely satisfied with the (explicit or implicit) agreements, do they yield two halves that elegantly generate equal parts light and shadow (proverbially speaking, of course)?
Finally, the week concludes with Venus entering Scorpio (which, of course, means that Venus at 29º Libra will be squaring Pluto at 29º Capricorn right before it arrives in the new sign). Venus (the planet of love, beauty, and harmony) enters its detriment in this zodiac sign, meaning it feels a little prickly in this brooding, esoteric realm of murky, fixed water. Venus is naturally at home in Taurus and Libra, where it freely indulges in pleasure, aesthetics, and harmony—but in Scorpio, things get a little more intense. A little more raw.
Scorpio isn’t interested in surface-level beauty or niceties. It’s about what lies beneath—the unspoken, the unseen, the secrets we hide and the power dynamics we test. Venus in Scorpio transforms love into something deeper, more passionate, and often more complicated. In this sign, Venus asks, “What are you really willing to give? What are you willing to risk for intimacy, for truth?” Love isn’t just a sweet, fleeting feeling; it’s an all-or-nothing experience. The stakes are high, and with Scorpio’s influence, there’s no escaping the shadows of relationships. Power, control, vulnerability: that means you have skin in the game.
With Venus in Scorpio, we have to play by a different set of rules—we have to dig deeper, confront jealousy, obsession, and fear of losing control. It’s a time when we’re called to examine our own desires: What do we crave? What do we need to feel secure? And perhaps most importantly, what are we really afraid of? Only once we’re able to get to the root—to the core—the real healing begin. Welcome, friends, to the official start of spooky season. We love to see it.
Good luck out there, kiddos. Hope to see some of you tonight at the Coven Meeting. Love you lots!!! xoxoxo
How long does this eclipse season last? I’m wondering about how long to focus more on surrendering than manifesting
So grateful for this info! ✨
