Previously on After Hours…

Aliza joined the Two Girls One Ghost ghouls for a perfect ghost tour in Salem. It was supposed to be 60 minutes. It ended up being 2 ½ hours. Aliza wished it was longer. The ghost loving tour guide was the equivalent of “let me just show you one more TikTok,” but instead it was haunted buildings.

Aliza told us tales of the now-defunct bar that sits atop the Old Burying Point cemetery in Salem. Did everyone else know about this? We were tickled by the idea that all those conservative ghost settlers must be so stressed about the millions of witches gathering in Salem every year. Joke’s on them!!! Hopefully they’ve gotten used to all the magic and spiced cider espresso martinis. Okay not sure if that is the witchiest drink—maybe just Aliza’s favorite. Annnnnd Aliza’s Boston fun does not end! She’ll be returning in November to be a ~~ghost~~ guest on the Morbid podcast! She can’t wait!

This past Monday, Aliza hosted our big Full Moon Coven Meeting. We did a release ceremony to wrap up the eclipse season with lots of fire and burning. In a good way. This satiated the 12-year old teenage boy pyro in Aliza’s heart. Maybe all witches are secretly skater boyers at their core looking up at the moon, humming Fall Out Boy, and lighting shit on fire? Gnarly.

Coming up: in two weeks Aliza will be flying out to California to host The Lunar Lodge Retreat in the High Desert! Aliza is hoping to see a scorpion during Scorpio season. We support this (but from afar). We’ve also been quite busy putting the final touches on the retreat and will be charming the guests with some incredibly spooky surprises…some of which have even caused the tiniest bit of controversy over here at AK HQ.
