Aliza’s very excited that it’s Scorpio Season—are you? You should be (is that a threat?), because this is THE time to embrace your spookiest self. Expect big transformations, big light-as-a-feather-stiff-as-a-board energy. Currently, at AK HQ we are watching The Craft on loop while delicately sipping pomegranate juice, hanging dried oranges, and debating what “costumes” we’ll be wearing this season. Halloween is truly upon us. The witches are elated.
Last weekend was another intensive yoga teacher training for Aliza. She has come to the conclusion that her Virgo Mars might be showing a bit as she attempts to be the best A+ student she can be i.e. sitting in the front of class and raising her hand as much as possible. There are only 5 people in the class, so this behavior is a little embarrassing. BUT someone did ask to borrow her notes the other day! So she must be doing something right!
But where is Aliza now? Believe it or not, she’s on the West Coast! It’s hard to keep track of her—even for me, the omniscient narrator! Before venturing to the High Desert, she stayed at her favorite hotel: the Hotel Angeleno. Aliza wasn’t sure if we should share that’s it the best keep secret in Los Angeles, but she’s a #goodperson. No more gatekeeping. This hotel is CIRCULAR, people! It has a CIRCLE RESTAURANT! And as we know circles can represent cycles, so it’s very TANC (that means There Are No Coincidences) that she stayed there before gathering 21 witches in a sacred circle for a 4-day enchanted experience.
Yes, friends, at this very moment, Aliza is at the Lunar Lodge connecting with spirits, ancestors, and sacred beings. It is going to be a delightful retreat. Aliza doesn’t want me to reveal all the magical things she has planned, since some of guests might be reading this newsletter right now. Will they be playing with Ouija boards? For now, all we can say is what happens at The Lunar Lodge stays at The Lunar Lodge. It’s Fight Club! It’s Vegas! It’s a gaggle of witches!
