Is it still Halloween? Yes! In Aliza’s neck of the woods, Halloween itself (as in, Friday, October 31) was unfortunately windy, cold, and destructive with trees falling down left and right! Honestly, a bit scary in all the wrong ways, but alas one must take the spooky life in all its forms. Also, Talula refused to wear her witch costume—most likely because she knows that she is already a witch and deemed it unnecessary. We respect a witch with boundaries.

ICYMI, this week's Coven Meeting was for the vibrant Full Moon in Taurus. With Uranus reentering Taurus (and we prepare to close a 7-year chapter that started in 2018), it was incredibly powerful to reflect on these themes, lessons, blessings, and disappointments. And then we did a release ceremony and it felt GOOOOOD. But if you missed it, don’t worry, you can catch the replay here!

Then, yesterday, Aliza traveled to Boston (they call it Beantown?) to record another episode of Morbid, this time to discuss the astrology of Jack the Ripper. Normal girls hanging out! By the time you read this, she’ll hopefully be at some sort of haunted establishment with Ash Kelley (wonderful co-host of Morbid), probably still talking about Jack the Ripper because now she’s totally locked in.

And finally, we would be remiss not to mention that Mercury Retrograde begins this Sunday, November 9. Do not fear—Aliza likes to see it as a time of revisiting, reviewing and reassessing; all things re-. Although, even she cannot deny the fact that this one in particular will be chaotic, messy, and problematic (yikes), so let’s buckle up, hydrate, and take it one day at a time. Okay? Okay!
