Luck, healing, and a lot of momentum.

Greetings from California! I’ve been in Los Angeles for the past 10-days—for work, for family, and for one of my best friend’s wedding. Traveling with an 18-month old isn’t easy, but someone’s gotta do it (Talula’s parents, evidently). By the time you read this, we’ll be in our way back to New York and even though I find myself forever seduced by the ample fruit trees of SoCal, I’m ready to get back to my routine again.

In the coming days, we’re blessed with a rare string of sextiles—those 60º angles that offer opportunity, ease, and flow—especially with Mercury (the planet of communication), Venus (referred to as the “lesser benefic”), and Jupiter (the “greater benefic”) involved. And, with that, we welcome in movement, luck, connection, and clarity. But don’t mistake ease for passivity. By the end of the week, Venus finally moves out of Aries (where it’s been bopping around for the better part of the year), and shifts into Taurus, marking a much-needed vibe shift and a massive improvement for Venus. If you can believe it, Venus first went on Aries in February 4 (!!!), and due to its retrograde, proceeded to shift in-and-out of this sign since then. In Aries, Venus was hot and hurried; in Taurus, it slows way down… and brings some new energies and big blessings along with it. Venus is in its domicile in Taurus, meaning it’s right at home in this sensual earth sign. Here, pleasure is purposeful and connections are savored.
