How to melt ICE
What’s happening in Los Angeles—and across the country—is disgusting. ICE agents conducting raids and detentions with militarized force, targeting people at work, graduation ceremonies, within their homes: abducting people simply existing as people. Community members have been effectively kidnapped by masked and anonymous agents in paramilitary gear, without paperwork or warrants or due process. This is fascism. My practice will always stand with the oppressed, the displaced, the marginalized—and, as we’ve discussed before, a spiritual practice must be rooted in justice.
And the astrology of 2025 agrees.
Pluto in Aquarius. Neptune in Aries. Saturn is in Aries. This is revolution astrology—active, demanding, and unwilling to stay silent. We will not comply. We will fight back. We will speak up. We will melt ICE. Because astrology like this doesn’t happen all that often—in fact, the last Saturn-Neptune conjunction (which we’re inching towards) took place in 1989; right as the Berlin Wall fell. The astrology is here because we are ready to receive it. As above, so below.
So do not fear the revolution. You are here for a reason.
Monday, June 9: Mercury square Saturn
We open the week with a Mercury–Saturn square. Mercury in Cancer speaks through emotion; Saturn in Aries shuts it down unless it’s sharp, necessary, and earned. There may be limits on what can be said, or restrictions on how it’s received. But this aspect also forces us to clarify our language—what do you really want to say? This is a no-bullshit zone. Speak with intention, and be prepared to take responsibility for your words.
Saturn in Aries (2025-2028): What It Means For You
Buckle up! One of the most important transits of 2025 is upon us.
Monday, June 9: Venus square Pluto
Venus in Taurus craves connection, comfort, and stability—but Pluto in Aquarius refuses to let anything stay surface-level. This square exposes the shadow side of love, desire, and money. What’s underneath the pretty picture? What power dynamics are hiding in plain sight? This can be a moment of deep intensity and emotional volatility, but it can also be incredibly clarifying. You can’t avoid the truth—and you shouldn’t try.
Monday, June 9: Jupiter enters Cancer
After a year in airy, fast-moving Gemini, Jupiter plunges into the emotional tides of Cancer (its exalted sign!) marking the start of a new 12-year cycle of growth, healing, and emotional expansion. The last time this transit occurred was from June 2013 to July 2014—think back to that era for clues about what themes may resurface or evolve.
Cancer, ruled by the Moon, governs memory, home, protection, and intuition. Its lunar rhythm—waxing, waning, and beginning again—mirrors Jupiter’s core principle of expansion through cycles. In Cancer, Jupiter is exalted, meaning it functions at its highest potential: growing roots, creating safety, and cultivating abundance.
Expect a collective shift toward care work, community-building, and redefining what home means, both personally and politically. For those with prominent Cancer placements, get ready for an exciting boost of energy, opportunity, and abundance as Jupiter activates those planets and points in your chart. For those with Jupiter in Cancer in their birth chart, your Jupiter Return—a special 12-year transit that signals luck and prosperity!—is coming in hot! And for everyone, be sure to find out which astrological house Jupiter will be transiting over the next year.

Jupiter in Cancer: What It Means For You
One of the *luckiest* transits of 2025 is upon us: On June 9, Jupiter—the planet of abundance—transitions from Gemini to Cancer, marking the next chapter in a narrative we haven’t touched since 2013. This represents a huge energetic shift, as Jupiter leaves the sign of its detriment (Gemini) to bask in the sign of its exaltation (Cancer), where it has everything it needs to thrive.
Monday, June 9: Mercury square Neptune
This is a foggy, disorienting aspect, where communication gets warped, facts dissolve, and intuition takes the wheel. Watch for miscommunications, confusion, or straight-up delusion. But also: listen deeply. Something whispered may be more powerful than something shouted.
Tuesday, June 10: Mars trine Chiron
Mars in Leo trines Chiron in Aries, bringing action into healing. This is a beautiful aspect for turning pain into power (which also happens to be. It encourages you to show up boldly, even if you’re scared—even if you’ve been hurt before. Taking initiative now can open doors for confidence, connection, and renewal.
Wednesday, June 11: Full Moon in Sagittarius
The Full Moon in Sagittarius is a culmination of belief. What do you stand for? What truths have you come to realize? This lunation could bring revelations about freedom, justice, and meaning—especially if you’ve felt lost in the noise of everyday distraction. Follow the light.
But wait! There’s more! This lunation is ruled by Jupiter, and—as you know—Jupiter just entered Cancer—its sign of exaltation. And not only is Jupiter freshly arrived in this intuitive, emotionally intelligent water sign, but it’s also sitting at 0º, a critical degree that amplifies potency and power. This is Jupiter at its most fertile, most abundant, most spiritually aligned. Under this Full Moon, you’re being called to expand in a way that’s both divinely timed and deeply personal. Say yes.

Wednesday, June 11: Mercury sextile Venus
This is a sweet, connective aspect that softens the hard edges of the week. With Mercury in Cancer and Venus in Taurus, words carry emotional weight and physical comfort. A great day for expressing love, creativity, or affection.
Sunday, June 15: Mars square Uranus
This is the powder keg. Mars in Leo wants bold action, Uranus in Taurus—at its very final degrees in this sign before moving into Gemini next month (!)—wants radical change—but neither wants to compromise. Expect the unexpected: outbursts, breakups, breakthroughs. This can be volatile energy, but also electric. You might surprise yourself. Let it move you, not destroy you.
Sunday, June 15: Jupiter square Saturn
The final aspect of the week delivers the long-awaited conclusion to a rare and potent three-part series: Jupiter square Saturn. This aspect first hit on August 19, 2024, returned on December 24, 2024, and now arrives at its final installment—one that won’t repeat again until 2035.
Jupiter represents expansion, optimism, and possibility; Saturn governs structure, discipline, and responsibility. When these two clash, we’re forced to reconcile our ambitions with reality. Are your dreams built to last? Have you laid the foundation to support what you’re reaching for? If this year has felt like one long push-pull between breakthrough and burnout, this square is likely why. Now, you’re getting the final verdict. What stays, what goes, and what needs reworking becomes clear.
Jupiter square Saturn brings the opportunity to integrate growth with integrity. To crystallize faith into form. And to prove, once and for all, that your vision can hold up under pressure.
